Fantasy Fairytale Week
July 11th – 15th
The chance to read and participate in some of the most popular fairy tales ever written will be at the heart of this week’s theme. “Snow White”, “Jack and the Beanstalk”, “Cinderella”, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and “The Three Little Pigs” will all be featured as we share these delightful stories with the children. In addition to the fun songs associated with these stories, we will also use fun arts and crafts, cooking and drama to help bring these fairytales to life. A magical week of fairytale fun awaits all our children as we delve into the realms of fantasy.
Fantastic Flying Fun Week
July 19th – 22nd
Come joins us and take a ride on the Happy Day’s hot air balloon. We’ll take a close up look at things that fly and can be found in the sky. This week will be filled with lots of super fun activities like making model airplanes and hot air balloons. We will also participate in lots of super fun games that revolve around our flying theme. Science will also play a part this week as we make our very own clouds in the sky! Don’t miss this exciting journey to the sky!
Arctic Animals Week
July 25th – 29th
Are you ready to escape the heat in Tokyo and experience a week of adventure in Antarctica? Welcome to the coldest place on earth! This week is all about exploring the animals that live on and beneath this icy land. Penguins, seals, whales, and many other animals await you here in the South Pole. The animals will take you on a journey through the life of Antarctica with exciting stories, video, and music. In addition to discovering amazing facts about the animals and their lives, we will also make our own Antarctic animal puppets through arts and crafts, learn how to walk and swim like penguins and seals, and find out how these animals live in this cold winter wonderland.
Come and chill for a week with cool activities and lots of fun!
Arty Art Week
August 1st – 5th
Everyone can be an artist! Let’s turn Happy Days into an arts and crafts museum! Amongst the many fun activities this week we will involve ourselves with lots of painting as we explore the world of color. Our creative conquests will continue as we keep our hands moving through clay sculpture and paper-mache. What a great way to let our imaginations run wild! There will also be a special body painting day that will involve lots of kid friendly paint, large sheets of white paper and many pairs of hands and feet. Its time to let our creative minds flow, lets start with Arty Art!
The Fabulous Five (Senses) Week
August 8th – 12th
What a beautiful world we live in! Using all our five senses we will explore the wonderful world around us. Each day this week will be filled with activities related to one of the five senses; touch, sight, taste, smell and hearing. Our week will take us on a journey of discovery as we encounter lots of different sensations that we will identify through one of the five senses. Through games, experiments and summer fun activities we are going to have an awesome week of Fabulous Five appreciation.
